These guys that participated in the attack on Normandy RECREATED THE JUMP. In their nineties.

I hope I’m still ALIVE when I’m that age. But tough enough to jump out of a plane? I freaking doubt it. I salute these men, for what they did 75 years ago and for still being tough guys t oday.

A decade ago I was on Juno Beach, and came across some WWII veterans visiting. They were watching two kids play on the beach and there were tears of joy streaming down their faces. I guess they must not have figured they’d ever see the day, but here they were and it was glorious.
I’m glad we were lucky enough to have some tough guys (and gals)
on our side back then. I just wish there were more still with us these days.
